I initially chose Olalla Smokers to make my pit because they were conveniently located in the Pacific Northwest and flexible towards incorporating my custom design requests. My Olalla pit has exceeded expectations in quality workmanship. “It’s true that you can learn to cook in a burn barrel, but why would you want to.” Superior welds and precision door-alignment make controlling the pit temperature easy, contributing to the consistency we need to produce a quality product for competition BBQ and won 10 Grand Championships and 5 Reserve Grand Championships in a 3 year period.
